The first appointment is really an “information gathering session”. It will consist of a consultation, oral exam, xrays and a high tech tooth/bite scan to evaluate many more items than just cavities. We will review your current situation, GET YOUR INPUT AND DESIRES, explain your various options (and cost), then with your help formulate a custom game plan to get the most out of your smile and dental health.
You will want to bring the following information with you to the consultation appointment:
- A list of any medications you are taking
- Any known allergies or medical conditions
- Medical or Dental insurance to be filed
- A referral slip and X-rays (if applicable)
-
Occasionally treatment can be done the same day as the consultation. However, complex treatment plans or complicated medical histories will require evaluation and a second appointment for treatment. Please let the office know if you have a medical condition that may be a concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic fever, or blood disorders).read more
